Hope are still producing Pro 4 hubs but there is a significant backlog. Currently hubs are taking approximately 2 wheels to come through from Hope. This will have a knock on effect on our wheels. It is likely that custom wheel orders will now be 2-3 weeks for delivery. Please only order if you are happy to wait for your wheels. We cannot give refunds for cancelled orders as they are all custom. For those that do order, we appreciate your business and will get your wheels to you as promptly as possible. You will get your wheels but you'll have to wait in line for delivery. Thanks for your patience.
Hope's brand new Pro 4 6 Bolt Disc Mountain Bike Hubs handbuilt onto Stans No Tubes Flow EX3 Enduro and downhill rims. Available in 27.5" or 29", the Flow EX3 sets new standards for tubeless compatible premium mountain bike rims. With a 29mm internal width and 32.6mm external these are wide enough for tyres up to 2.8".
All our wheels now have the option of Sapim Double Square Secure Lock Alloy or Brass in Silver or Black. The use of these nipples allows us to use a slightly longer spoke for added strength and to build the wheels from the outside, reducing tooling marks on the spoke nipple.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Hi, just about to buy hope pro4 hubs with Stans ex3, but need to confirm a few things first, my bike has NX SRAM, this needs normal Shimano freehub ? Not the XD driver? And if we upgrade the drivetrain to eagle gx we can upgrade the freehub? Cheers
Good morning, thanks for your message.
If you have an NX cassette currently you'll need the Shimano 10/11 speed freehub in alloy or steel. If you decide to update to a GX cassette in future you would need the Pro 4 XD freehub upgrade. These are readily available and easy to swap.
I hope this helps

Hi! I would be interested in a set of Stan’s Flow wheels for XC cycling and also bike packing. Do you know what the recommended weight limit for these is and do you think they would be a good wheelset for the above mentioned purposes? My weight is 85kg. Thanks, Simon
Thanks for your message. The Flow EX3 rims are very robust and would be certainly capable of XC riding and bike packing. They don't publish a weight limit but I would estimate 110kg based on other manufacturers.
If you would like to discuss this further please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Hello Would it be possible to have this option build for the Flow MK3 rims instead of the ex3? I'm not particularly heavy and wouldn't need the extra durability and weight provided by the EX3. thank you
Thanks for your message. Unfortunately the Flow MK3 is now discontinued and replaced by the Flow EX3. It is a heavier duty rim than the Flow Mk3 and more durable but ultimately heavier.
If you're looking for a wide profile rim that isn't built as heavy as the Flow EX3 I'd recommend the DT Swiss XM481.

Hi, in regard to the front 15x110 boost with torque caps, (hope pro4 front hub) I am looking to run 20x110 boost forks - specifically boost, are the torque caps for 20mm conversion in the 110 boost spacing? Thanks
Thanks for your message.
The Torque cap option is only available on the 15mm thru axle hubs. 20x110mm BOOST are a more standard style end cap.
Out if interest which forks would this be for?
Hi I'm looking at ordering the following: Hand built Hope Pro 4 hubs with Stans Flow EX3 rims Pro 4 Front MTB Hub: Hope Pro 4 - 110 x15mm BOOST Pro 4 Rear MTB Hub: Hope Pro 4 148x12mm BOOST Hope Freehub Body: SRAM XD Drive for 11/12 Speed (inc Eagle) Hope Hub colour: Orange Brass Nipple: 14mm Black Brass Wheel Size: 29" Spoke Option: DT Competition Could you give me an idea on how long until delivery? Also, are there any issues running sram centreline rotors on hope hubs? Thanks!
Good morning, many thanks for your message.
Delivery time on that wheelset would be 7-10 days from the time of order.
I've not experienced or read about any issues with Centreline rotors on Hope Pro 4 hubs. They are both 6 bolt interface.
If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Hi, what sort of weight are the flow ex3s on Pro4 hubs with the cx Ray spokes?
Good morning, many thanks for your question. I can't give you an exact weight on that wheelset as yet but I have just taken an order for one so if you can give me a few days I will let you know. Was it 27.5" or 29"?

Hi, I'm looking for a new wheelset, and interested in a set of Flow EX3s on Hope Hubs. I was hoping to get some before going to Whistler on 15th May, but realise this may be a bit late now. Would you be able to give me a build time for the following spec? Hand built Hope Pro 4 hubs with Stans Flow EX3 rims Pro 4 Front MTB Hub: Hope Pro 4 - 110 x15mm BOOST Pro 4 Rear MTB Hub: Hope Pro 4 148x12mm BOOST Hope Freehub Body: SRAM XD Drive for 11/12 Speed (inc Eagle) Hope Hub colour: Orange Brass Nipple: 14mm Silver Brass Wheel Size: 27.5" Spoke Option: DT Competition Many Thanks Jamie
Good morning, many thanks for your email. There shouldn't be a problem building those wheels, even within the timeframe for your trip to Whistler. We do have 1 pair of rims left from our first drop of Flow EX3s. If you want to go ahead please select you options from the drop down menus and make payment through our website:
Any problems, please let me know.
