Find the rider names and win a prize

The UCI knitted jerseys have proved to be a roaring success. Ripon looks brilliant as it prepares to welcome cyclists from all over the world for the 2019 UCI Road World Championships later in September.

Not content with knitting mini jerseys, the team of knitters have been busy making these UCI teddies for a treasure hunt around the city.

Each teddy has a unique rider name, simply walk round the city, find the each teddy and make a note of the rider name associated with the shop or business. There are 79 to find and prizes will be awarded after the competition closes on 5th October.

The treasure hunt is free to enter and the form is available in all the participating shops and available to download here

Thanks to Hazel Barker and Carol Dunkley and the rest of the team that helped bring this together.

Thanks also to all the businesses that have participated and shown their support for this once in a lifetime event. Although the event may cause some temporary disruption and may be inconvenient to some, we hope the positive influence this will have on the city will be felt for years to come.
