The Moonglu bike shop in Ripon, North Yorkshire operates a busy Shimano Service Centre accredited bike repair and service workshop. Our staff are Cytech trained, and with a combined 26 year experience in the cycle trade have a wealth of repair knowledge.
We are equipped to carry out all types of mountain bike and road bike related repair and service, we are not restricted by brand or style of bike. For further information on our range of services please see below;

| Basic Service | Our most common workshop task, the ‘Basic’ Bike Service includes an initial assessment of the bike condition. |
| Full service | A complete strip down of the frame and its component parts. The frame is cleaned and inspected for wear and damage, along with a similar inspection of all the component parts. Where possible, parts such as the hubs, bottom bracket, headset, forks and suspension parts are completely stripped down, lubricated and reassembled. The whole bike is then rebuilt using new parts where necessary back to its’ original working order. |
| Fork Servicing | As an authorised dealer and service centre for Fox and Magura we are able to carry out routine fork servicing on all Fox Forks and post 2007 model year Magura forks. |
| Hub Servicing and Repairs | We can repair and service front and rear hubs from brands such as Hope, DT Swiss, Sun Ringle and Chris King. |
Booking your bike in for repair
Moonglu operate a booking in policy for workshop repairs. Repairs and services are booked in on a daily basis and on most occasions the work is carried out and the bike made ready for collection on the same day. During peak season our repair waiting list can extend for up to 2 weeks in advance. In these circumstances it will not be possible to carry out ad-hoc work. We do not like letting down customers who turn up expecting us to drop everything and deal with their problem, so if you really are in a desperate bike related situation please call us in advance, prior warning and even some biscuits will definitely soften us up.
