Hope Pro 2 Evo on White Stans Arch EX rims

Product Description

This particular wheelset isn’t available as a stock Hope Hoop. We build these wheels to the same specification as the Hope Hoops using the brand new for 2012 Stans Arch EX rim. The Arch EX rim offers the perfect compromise of weight and strength between the other Stans rims, the Crest and the Flow. Brand new disc specific construction for 2012 the Arch EX is slightly wider than the old 355/Arch, giving better tyre support and stiffness. Perfect for the trail centre rider running 2.0 to 2.25 tyres, that wants a strong wheel with low weight.

Available now with Pro 2 Evo hubs (released March 2011), these wheels are built in house at Moonglu hence we are able to build with any current Hope hub colour although we mainly have freestock of wheels built with red and black hubs as these have been our most popular options. Other hub colours are available to order by email request.

The upgrade to Pro 2 Evo hubs simplifies the rear hub options. On the original Pro 2 the standard option was 135x10mm QR. Options to upgrade to 135x10mm thru axle and 135x12mm thru axle were available but this meant an axle change and incurred an additional cost. These options still exist with the Pro 2 Evo but are now simple hub end caps changes and are no cost options on our wheels.

The options on the front and rear axle along with 6 hub colours make these combinations difficult to list. These will be fitted prior to dispatch at no extra cost.

Spoke Nipple Options:

Our standard build comes with 12mm brass spoke nipples. We can build these wheels with coloured 14mm Sapim alloy nipples for a slight upcharge.

• Coloured Alloy – £10 upcharge

Please note:

Although we pre lube the rim and nipples, alloy nipples may deteriorate in colour and strength after a number of years.

Want to run these wheels tubeless?

We can supply the additional kit necessary to make these wheels tubeless. You will need:

• Stans Universal 35mmValve Stems
• Stans Tyre Sealant

PLEASE NOTE:

Our Hope wheels are supplied with Stans Yellow tape fitted at no extra cost. Hope Hoops wheels from Hope come supplied with a basic non tubeless compatible thin cloth tape. We remove this and fit the yellow tape before dispatch. The yellow tape can be used with or without inner tubes. Yellow tape would cost £3 per rim if fitted separately.
