Moonglu Cycle Service Centre

Moonglu offer a Shimano Service Centre approved cycle repair shop. Our fully equipped workshop is run by Cytech trained staff, with a combined experience off 20 years in the cycle trade. We can offer a range of service and repair work to suit most needs, including simple puncture repair work, through to full bike servicing involving hub, headset and fork stripdowns. Our price list is published below, all labour charges are exclusive of VAT.VAT will be charged at a rate of 17.5%, unless otherwise stated.

Basic Service - £30

Includes wheel truing, hub and headset bearing adjustment, gear adjustment, brake alignment/adjustment, tyre pressures and safety check on individual components.

Full Service - £75

Includes suspension fork service, hub and headset stripdown and service, gear adjustment, brake alignment/adjustment, tyre pressures and a safety check on individual components.

Wheel Truing - £8 minimum charge

Wheel truing can be carried out by our staff. In cases where satisfactory truing is not possible, customers will be advised and alternatives suggested.

Suspension Fork Service (Fox 36/40) - £60

Suspension Fork Service (Rock Shox, Fox or Marzocchi 32mm) - £50

Our staff can service suspension forks from Fox, Marzocchi and (SRAM) Rock Shox. Routine service work is undertaken in house and the price includes labour, new suspension fluid and new oil seals but excludes VAT on labour. Please note that in circumstances where parts and additional repair are necessary, then forks will be required to be sent to the relavent fork repair company for further work. This will always be advised prior to any further work being undertaken. In these circumstances, carriage will be charged.

Moonglu operate a booking in system for the workshop. Please be advised that during peak times booking will need to be in advance, please call the shop to arrange a suitable time. Our workshop staff endeavours to complete bikes on the same day. With this in mind, please ensure that all bikes are delivered to the shop in the morning and arrange a suitable time for collection with the staff

Most other work will be charged on a time charge basis, an estimate of the anticipated labour cost will be given on the day of service. Moonglu will endeavor to repair all types of cycles, old and new and our experienced staff can deal with most situations that are thrown at them.

In the interests of hygiene, please ensure that all bikes booked into the workshop for service/repair are clean. Cleaning charges will be made to those deemed inappropriate to carry out work on.
