You've had a few bikes before, you know what feels good, what doesn't and you're searching for something alittle bit special that you can keep for the rest of your riding days. You need to discover the wonders of titanium frames. Strong, light and incredibly comfortable, plus practically indestructible. Made by the finest titanium handlers in the cycle industry, Litespeed, at their machine works in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

With the longest heritage of titanium frame construction currently in the cycle industry, Litespeed have been hand crafting and refining titanium frames for 25 years and are still at the forefront of frame technology. Used for many years by professional cyclists in the pro peleton but often badged up by sponsored teams, Lance used a Trek badged Blade for his early Tour de France time trials, Litespeed are the ones to go for when considering a Ti frame, either road or mountain.

For 2007 Litespeed reintroduce an old favourite into their line-up. The Obed returns but with an interesting new look. Litespeed have long produced the Hummer for Cove, a big seller for us, a big seller in the UK and a WMB Gold Award Winner, so it made sense for Litespeed to construct a trail hardtail to better the Hummer, and well they have. Although the Obed may look similar it has some interesting modifications, mainly the modular rear dropouts, leaving the option of an RDS singlespeed dropout, awesome, a titanium singlespeed. It also features beefed up rear stays and down tube/head tube gusset for the use of longer travel trail forks.

The stablemate of the Obed is the Ocoee, slightly less aggressive but still supporting the RDS dropout and stiff rear stays. This would make an awesome race day bike. If you're looking for even more comfort than titanium tubing can offer, then Litespeed also produce the Sewanee, full suspension, full titanium bike with 60mm rear wheel travel and with a 4.4Ibs (inc shock) frame, possibly the ultimate endurance machine. If you're looking for even more travel but still the titanium experience, Litespeed make the Niota, their all mountain frame with 4/5" travel and supporting 100-150mm travel forks. This can be ordered either as a full titanium frame or as a titanium front triangle with aluminium rear stays.

On the road frame front, things remain very much unchanged from 2006, minor tweaks and new decals. At the very pinnacle is the Ghisallo, one of the lightest production road frames on the planet (770g in size medium), a mountain climbers dream bike. The Vortex is a different beast, aggressive, stiff and very fast, and using Litespeed latest tubing innovation, PFT flared diamond tubesets, super light but super stiff, this baby accelerates like s**t off a shovel, no other words for it. Litespeed also offer the Siena and Ardennes as full titanium offerings as well as the ladies specific Bella for ladies who want the ultimate ride.

All Litespeeds are available from us either as a frame only or a full build direct from the factory. Moonglu can also offer our very own Custom Build Service if you would like something that little extra special. These really are awesome frames, unrivalled in the niche titanium world, and definitely worth that special treat in life.
