How to Order a Nicolai frame
Nicolai frames are Handmade in Germany, they simply aren’t an off the shelf product. From the time off order, Nicolai frames can take anything up to 12 weeks for delivery. During this time, each frame goes through tube cutting, jigging and welding, alignment, painting and finally finishing and packing. Each frame is handmade, to the specific requirements of each customer, these are true bike art.

We are often contacted by customers interested in a Nicolai by phone or email. It’s very rarely a “Can I order a frame” conversation, most clients want to talk through the options, ask our opinion, get a feel for what they’re buying. This is how we have dealt with Nicolai’s for 7 years now and ultimately, if you’re happy, we’re happy. Contact us by phone, email, Facebook or whatever other social network or method of communication is en vogue, we’re only too happy to talk Nicolai.
To confirm an order we will require a 10% minimum deposit at the time of order. Once this payment has been made we will order the frame with the factory. We will then endeavor to get a confirmed production and delivery date from Nicolai. Balance of payment will be required when the frame arrives from Germany. Although we may quote 12 weeks delivery time, this is the most it is likely to be, 9 times out of 10 it is quicker than this but we find it’s better to have happy customers than disappointed ones.
