After the initial success with Cove and Nicolai custom builds, we have decided to expand our repetoire. Intense Cycles have been producing frames for many years and together with Santa Cruz have worked on the very successful Virtual Pivot Point (VPP) system. Up until now, Intense have been outsold in the UK many times over by Santa Cruz, but with the transfer of supply to Extra UK and increased production this is about to change.

Although similar to Santa Cruz due to the VPP design, the Intense range differs slightly in the model and travel options. They can offer short travel race bikes such as the Spider FRO right up to 9.5" travel multi race winning Downhill bikes such as the M3.

All the frames are hand crafted and finished in the USA, not out sourced to China like so many of their competitors. We took delivery of our first frames in March and with the help of a demo bike, it's already turning into another custom build success. Our demo bike is a 5.5EVP in works 'unfinish/finish', love it or hate it, the bike is eye cathching and resulted in our first Intense customer. He took delivery of a Socom in works finish very soon after and called us a day later to thank us for the best bike he's ever had, and he's had a good collection in the past!

With any luck this page will fill up in the near future. Rather than compete with Nicolai, we feel they will compliment each other, with very different suspension designs, ride characteristics and appearance.
